Darin Rowell, executive leadership coach

About

Each day, I have the good fortune of working with some of the smartest and most accomplished leaders in the world – leaders that are building companies, shaping industries, and creating a positive impact in the world. They include a diverse portfolio of companies and industries including healthcare, financial services, technology, energy, logistics, retail, and construction. Ultimately, my role is helping clients gain clarity and take focused action on the issues that are most important to their success – at work and in life.

My approach is grounded in both evidence-based research and over two decades of helping clients create real-world results. The most important aspect of my approach, however, is to meet my clients where they are. I do this by first establishing a deep understanding of who they are as individuals, the unique context within which they are leading, and the specific goals they are committed to achieving. This approach allows us to co-create holistic solutions that accelerate performance and deliver real-world results.

In addition to my coaching work, I write for publications such as the Harvard Business Review and for almost a decade I was an Adjunct Professor of Management and Team Performance Coach at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. My academic training includes an MBA from Millsaps College as well as a Masters and Doctorate degree in Organizational Learning and Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.

On a more personal note, my family and I recently returned to our home state of Mississippi after raising our two boys in Tennessee, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. Personal and family time is filled with outdoor activities, sports, volunteering, and any opportunity to travel and explore new environments, cultures, and friendships.
